Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management and the Council of Small Enterprises (COSE) today announced that Summit
Data Communications is one of the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio. With a five year growth rate of 896.85%, Summit Data
Communications has been named the fastest growing technology company in Northeast Ohio, the fifth fastest growing company overall, and the
second fastest growing company in Akron.
The Weatherhead 100 Award was created by Bob Pavey, the Managing Partner of Morganthaler Partners, in 1987 in order to acknowledge,
support and praise the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio. According to the Weatherhead 100 organization, Pavey
wanted, “Enterprise Development, Inc., the former not-for-profit
subsidiary of Case Western Reserve University, [to] not only identify,
but bestow a genuine sense of honor upon the fastest growing companies
in Northeast Ohio.”
